warming up with some huevos rancheros

Aye s’me again, snitches. Yesterday, my neighbor bestie Alejandra and I were forced to say our goodbyes in the morning before her flight to L.A. for winter break. I won’t be seeing her until spring quarter, so we decided to go all out on a delicious breakfast fit for kings-or should I say reyes? We got ourselves some ingreds from O-pro from the tall and insightful Corey. Being the foodies that we are, we threw together some epic huevos rancheros in the only way we knew how: WITH SWAG. Drizzled in enchilada sauce, the eggs that sat atop lightly fried tortillas melted the chihuahua cheese that accented the mildly spicy dish. Blueberries, raspberries, and sliced bananas sat on a cutting board begging for us to pop them in our mouths in different combinations. Coffee and grapefruit juice offered their respected services in waking us up from a night of pre-finals week festivities and quenching our thirst. We didn’t have much time to cook and eat but we made the most of it. Now my dear friend is sitting in the sunny rays that frequent L.A. trying to write a paper while her SoCal city tries to distract her.
